1.17.0 — 2026-10-08

横断検索が、全角・半角・半角カナ・大文字小文字を同じ扱いに / Cross-document search treats width, half-width kana and case alike

開いている文書をまとめて探す横断検索（⌘⇧F）で、全角と半角、半角カナと全角カナ、大文字と小文字を区別しません。ＲＵＳＴ で rust が、ｶﾞｲﾄﾞ で ガイド が見つかります。濁点の有無は区別します（が と か は別の字です）。ハイライトとジャンプは、元の文書の文字の位置で行います（正規化で文字数が変わっても、ずれません）。

The cross-document search (⌘⇧F) no longer tells full-width from half-width, half-width katakana from full-width, or capitals from lower case: ＲＵＳＴ finds rust, and ｶﾞｲﾄﾞ finds ガイド. A voiced mark still matters (が and か are different letters). Highlighting and jumping use the positions in your original text, so they stay correct even when normalising changes the length of a string.

フォルダの構造を、そのままテキストで書き出す / A folder's structure, as plain text

サイドバーのフォルダ見出しと、各サブフォルダ行にカーソルを重ねると出るボタンから、そのツリーをコピーします。.md に絞らず全ファイル——tree コマンドと同じ範囲です。貼り付け先で行が崩れないよう、コードフェンスで囲んでコピーします。1,000 件を超えたら、node_modules のような大きなフォルダを巻き込んでいないか先に確認します。

A button on the folder header, and one on every subfolder row on hover, copies that tree as text — every file, not just Markdown, the same scope as the tree command. It's wrapped in a code fence so pasting it into a document doesn't collapse the layout. Past 1,000 entries it asks first, in case something like node_modules got swept in.

表のパイプ位置を揃える / Align a table's pipes

見出しと本文の一番長いセルに合わせて、全セルを空白でパディングします。見た目（レンダリング結果）は変わりません——変わるのは生のソースの読みやすさだけです。寄せ（左・中央・右）に応じてパディングの向きも変わります。

Every cell is padded to the widest one in its column, header and body alike. The rendered table looks identical — only the raw source gets easier to read and diff. Padding follows the column's own alignment (left, centre, right).

表の操作は、表アイコンの▾に一本化 / Table actions live under the table icon's own ▾

列を足す・消す・寄せる・パイプを揃える——この 4 つは表の中でしかしないので、常設のツールバーボタンではなく、表アイコン横の▾から出すメニューにまとめました。カーソルが表の外なら、その旨を出します。/（表の下の空行から）でも同じものを呼べます。

Add column, delete column, cycle alignment, align pipes — all four only ever do anything with the caret inside a table, so they no longer take up a permanent toolbar slot. They live in a dropdown off the table icon's ▾, which says so when the caret isn't in a table. The / menu (on the blank line after a table) reaches the same four.

雑に並べたタスクが、番号の付いた WBS になります / Rough notes become a numbered WBS

1.2.3 を手で振り直すのは、人間がやることではありません。**箇条書きを選んで 1 回押すと、階層はそのままに番号が振られます。**項目を消してもう一度押せば、穴は詰まります。既に付いている番号は剥がしてから振り直すので、何度押しても積み上がりません。

Renumbering 1.2.3 by hand is not work for a person. Press once and the list is numbered, with its nesting untouched. Delete an item, press again, and the gaps close — existing ids are stripped before renumbering, so pressing twice never stacks 1. 1. 1..

**入れ子はそのまま残ります。**表に変換すると階層は潰れますが、WBS では入れ子そのものが作業の分解なので、落とすわけにはいきません。

The nesting survives. Converting to a table flattens it; here the nesting is the breakdown, so it stays.

表の列を、その場で足す・消す・寄せる / Add, delete and align table columns in place

カーソルのある列に効きます。**どの列かを訊かれません。**寄せは押すたび 左 → 中央 → 右 → 無し と回るので、選択肢を並べたメニューより速く目的の形になります。区切り行（| --- |）にカーソルがあっても、その列に効きます。

They act on the column the caret is in — nothing is asked. Alignment cycles left → centre → right → none on each press, which reaches the shape you want faster than a menu of four. It answers on the | --- | row too, where there is no cell to be inside of.

/wbs で、骨組みを出せます / /wbs drops in a skeleton

/ メニューに /wbs が入りました。引数のある部品だけが小さいフォームを開きます ── 深さ、ID を振るか、開始日、辞書（表）と gantt を一緒に作るか。Enter だけで抜けられ、何も触らなければ深さ 2・ID あり・今日からの骨組みが出ます。区切り線やチェックリストは今までどおり、選んだ瞬間に入ります。全部にフォームを出すと、フォームを埋める作業が増えるだけだからです。

/wbs joins the / menu. Only the parts that take arguments open a form — depth, whether to number, the start date, and whether to generate the companion table and gantt. Enter alone gets you out, and touching nothing gives you a two-deep, numbered skeleton starting today. Parts with no arguments still insert the moment you pick them: a form for everything would just be more forms to fill in.

一緒に作る表の列名は、そのまま「表 → ガント」に渡せる名前にしてあります。

The companion table's columns are named so that Table → Gantt reads them as they are.

選択した範囲に効く、小さな変換 9 つ / Nine small transforms for the selection

• 大文字小文字 — camelCase → snake_case → kebab-case → CONSTANT → Title と押すたび回ります
• 並べ替え — 辞書順 / 数値順 / 長さ順。数値順は「10 件・2 件・33 件」を 2 → 10 → 33 に並べます（文字列として比べません）。箇条書きの記号は動かさず、比べるのはその後ろだけ
• 結合・分割 — 箇条書きを 1 行に、1 行を箇条書きに
• 折り返し・字下げ戻し — 80 桁で折り返す。貼り付けたブロックの共通の字下げだけを剥がす（相対的な深さは残ります）
• エンティティ / URL デコード — & や %E6%97%A5 を読める文字に戻します

何も選ばずに押すと、カーソルのある行に効きます。

• Letter case cycles camelCase → snake_case → kebab-case → CONSTANT → Title on each press
• Sorting by text, by number, or by length. The numeric sort puts "10 件, 2 件, 33 件" in the order 2, 10, 33 — it compares values, not digits as text. List markers stay put; what is compared is the text after them
• Join and split — a list into one line, and back
• Wrap and dedent — wrap at 80 columns; strip only the indent a pasted block shares, keeping the relative depth
• Decode & and %E6%97%A5 back into what they stand for

With nothing selected, they act on the caret's line.

これらは既定では表示されません。設定（⌘,）▸ ツールバーで、出したいものだけ選んでください。/ メニューからも引けます。

They are off by default: pick the ones you want in Settings (⌘,) ▸ Toolbar. The / menu reaches them too.

Word の文書も、落とせば開きます / Drop a Word document and it opens

受け取った .docx を読むのに、変換サイトへ上げるか pandoc を入れるか、Word を開くか。そのどれも要らなくなりました。 ウィンドウに落とせば Markdown に直して開きます。見出し・段落・箇条書き・表は、そのまま構造として出ます。

Reading a .docx someone sent you used to mean uploading it to a converter, installing pandoc, or opening Word. None of those any more. Drop it on the window and it opens as Markdown — headings, paragraphs, lists and tables come through as structure.

変換は手元で終わります。どこにも送りません。 変換器（anydoc）は同じ Rust の中に入っていて、外部プロセスもネットワークも使いません。社外に出せない文書でも、そのまま開けます。

The conversion happens on your machine. Nothing is uploaded. The converter (anydoc) is linked into the same Rust binary — no subprocess, no network. A document you are not allowed to send anywhere still opens.

元のファイルには、書き戻りません / It never writes back to the original

開いたものは無題の文書になります。保存すると保存先を尋ね、.md として別に書き出されます。元の .docx に書き戻る経路は、そもそも実装に存在しません——書き込みの許可リストに .docx が入っていないためで、その不変条件はテストで固定してあります。

What opens is an untitled document. Saving asks where to put it and writes a .md. There is no code path that writes back to the original: .docx is not on the write allow-list, and that invariant is pinned by a test.

2 つの版を、そのまま比べられます / Diff two versions of a document

比較（ファイル ▸ 2つのファイルを比較）に .docx を 2 つ渡すと、版どうしの差分が出ます。同じファイルは何度変換しても 1 バイトも変わらないので、差分が変換のゆらぎで埋まることはありません（別プロセスで 5 回ずつ変換して確認しました）。

Hand two .docx files to Compare and you get the diff between two versions of a document. The same file converts byte-identically every time — checked by converting each of 12 files five times in separate processes — so the diff is not buried in conversion noise.

名乗るのは .docx だけです / .docx only, on purpose

xlsx・pptx・PDF も開くことはできましたが、外しました。開けることと、読めることは別だったからです。xlsx は表の見出し行が空になり複数の表が連結され、PDF は構造が無いぶん見出しを字の大きさから推測するので、折り返した見出しが 2 つに割れます。段落・見出し・箇条書き・表が元データに構造として入っているのは .docx だけで、そこだけが推測せずに変換できます。

xlsx, pptx and PDF all opened — and were dropped anyway. Opening is not the same as reading. In xlsx the header row comes out empty and separate tables run together; PDF has no structure to map, so headings are inferred from type size and a wrapped heading becomes two. Only .docx carries the structure, so only .docx converts without guessing.

画像は入りません。 本文・見出し・箇条書き・表だけです。開いた直後にそう表示されます。

Images are not carried over — text, headings, lists and tables only. The app says so the moment the document opens.

1.13.0 — 2026-08-26

/ で、部品をその場に挿せます / Insert blocks where you stand, with /

表を1つ入れるためにツールバーへ目を上げて、ボタンを探して、また文章に戻る。その往復が要らなくなりました。 空行の行頭で / を打つとメニューが出て、表・チェックリスト・コードブロック・水平線をその場に挿せます。入力で絞り込み、↑／↓ で選び、Enter で確定、Esc で取り消し。

Inserting one table used to mean looking up at the toolbar, finding the button, and coming back to your sentence. That round trip is gone. Type / at the start of an empty line and a menu appears — table, checklist, code block, horizontal rule — filtered as you type, chosen with ↑/↓, inserted with Enter, dismissed with Esc.

文中の / は、これまでどおりただの文字です。 生成された .md には src/ も notes/ も出てきます。そこでメニューが開く editor は、書く邪魔をするだけです。発火するのは行頭かつ空行のときだけにしてあります。

A / inside a line stays a plain character. Generated .md is full of src/ and notes/, and an editor that pops a menu there is one that gets in your way. It only fires at the start of an otherwise empty line.

箇条書きを表に、表をガントに / Bullets become a table; a table becomes a chart

白紙から作るより、雑に並べたものを整えるほうが実作業は長い。 リストの下で / を打つと「箇条書きを表に」が、表の下では「表をガントに」が並びます。効かせる先が無いところには出ません。

Starting from a blank page is not the long part — tidying up what you already jotted down is. Under a list, the menu offers "bullets → table"; under a table, "table → Gantt". Neither appears where there is nothing for it to work on.

• 箇条書き → 表：**名前** — 説明 や 項目: 値 を列に割ります。タスクリストなら状態の列が付きます。

• 表 → mermaid ガント：列は見出しの語で見ます（開始・期限・期間・状態・フェーズ、英語も）。3日 や 2週 はそのまま期間として読みます。

• Bullets → table: **name** — description and key: value split into columns; a task list gets a status column.

• Table → mermaid Gantt: columns are found by what the header says (start, due, duration, status, phase — in either language), and 3d / 2w style durations are read as they are.

表は消えません。 ガントは表の下に書かれ、もう一度変換すると同じブロックが差し替わります（増えません）。編集する対象は表のままで、図はその描画です。書き戻しをしないので、diff は読めるままです。

The table is kept. The chart is written below it, and converting again replaces that same block rather than stacking another. The table stays the thing you edit; the chart is a rendering of it. Nothing is written back over your source, so the diff stays readable.

空行でチェックリストが入らなかった件 / Checklist on an empty line

チェックリストのボタンは、空行で押しても何も起きませんでした。 複数行に - を付けるときに空行を飛ばす処理が、対象が空行1行だけのときも飛ばしていたためです。直りました。/todo も同じです。

The checklist button did nothing when the line was empty — the same rule that skips blank lines inside a multi-line block was skipping the only line there was. Fixed, and /todo inserts one too.

1.12.0 — 2026-08-24

ショートカットが、探さなくても分かります / Every shortcut, on one page

⌘⇧M の読書モードも、⌘⇧D の2ファイル比較も、⌘⇧F の横断検索も、これまでは知っている人だけが使えるものでした。どこにも書いていなかったからです。ヘルプ ▸ キーボードショートカット（⌘/）に、全部を一枚で置きました。

Reading mode (⌘⇧M), comparing two files (⌘⇧D), searching across your open documents (⌘⇧F) — until now you could only use those if you already knew they existed, because nothing on screen said so. Help ▸ Keyboard Shortcuts (⌘/) now lays all of them out on one page.

メニューに並んでいるものだけではありません。メニューには現れないもの — 編集中の ⌘B／⌘I、変更から変更へ飛ぶ ⌥↑・⌥↓、文書一覧を並べ替える ⌘↑・⌘↓、ファイルをゴミ箱へ送る ⌘⌫ — も同じ表に載せています。むしろ、そこが一番見つからなかったところです。

It is not just the menu items. The keys that appear in no menu at all are on the same sheet: ⌘B / ⌘I while editing, ⌥↑ / ⌥↓ to jump from change to change in a diff, ⌘↑ / ⌘↓ to reorder the document list, ⌘⌫ to send a file to the trash. Those were the hardest ones to ever find out about.

アウトラインが、書いている間もついてきます / The outline keeps up while you write

⌘E で編集に切り替えたあと（同じ画面で切り替えるレイアウトのとき）、右のアウトラインは現在位置を見失っていました。スクロールしても、光っているのは切り替えた瞬間の見出しのままでした。いま読んでいる／書いている見出しが、スクロールに合わせて光ります。

After ⌘E switched you into editing (in the swap layout), the outline on the right lost track of where you were: scroll as far as you liked, the highlight stayed on whatever heading you started from. Now it follows the editor, the way it always has in the preview.

長い文書のどこを書いているのかが、目を上げれば分かります。アウトラインの項目をクリックしてその場所へ飛ぶ動きは、これまでどおりです。

On a long document you can see where you are by glancing right. Clicking an entry to jump there works exactly as before.

設定の名前をひとつ直しました / One setting, honestly named

設定の「プレビューの幅」は、プレビューだけの設定ではありませんでした — 編集に切り替えたときのソース列にも同じ幅が効きます。「本文の幅」に改めました。

Settings called it "Preview width", but it was never only about the preview — the same measure caps the source column when you switch into editing. It is now "Text width".

1.11.0 — 2026-08-14

左右の列幅を、自分の文書に合わせられます / The side columns now fit your documents

左の文書一覧と右のアウトラインは、これまで幅が決まっていました。長いファイル名は途中で切れ、短い名前ばかりのときは余った幅がそのまま余っていました。境界の縦線を掴んで動かせます。

The open-documents list on the left and the outline on the right used to be fixed widths — long file names were cut off, and a project with short names left the space sitting there unused. Now you drag the line between the columns.

線そのものが掴みしろです。カーソルを近づけると色が変わり、掴んでいる間も変わったままなので、どこを動かしているのかが見えます。幅は覚えるので、次に開いたときも同じ姿です。

The line itself is the handle. It picks up the accent colour as the pointer nears it and keeps it while you drag, so you can see what you are moving. The width is remembered, so the app opens the way you left it.

元に戻すのはダブルクリックです / Double-click puts it back

行き過ぎたと思ったら、線をダブルクリックすれば既定の幅に戻ります。設定を開く必要はありません。

Dragged it somewhere unreadable? Double-click the line and it returns to its default width. No trip to Settings.

窓を狭めても、選んだ幅は忘れません / A narrow window borrows, it doesn't take

ウィンドウを小さくすると、列はそのぶん譲ります（列が本文より広くなっては本末転倒なので、常に幅の半分が上限です）。それでも保存した幅は書き換えないので、ウィンドウを広げれば選んだ幅に戻ります。

Shrink the window and the columns give way — a side column that outgrows the document defeats the point of both, so half the row is always the ceiling. The width you chose is not overwritten, so widening the window brings it straight back.

1.10.0 — 2026-08-06

設計書を、社名の入った文書として出せます / Ship a spec as a document with your name on it

社内の設計書や要件定義書には、ロゴと文書番号と版数と「社外秘」が付いています。MRDown はそれを frontmatter に書くだけで描くようになりました。プレビューに出るものが、そのまま PDF に出ます。

A design doc or a spec at work carries a logo, a document number, a version and a confidentiality marking. MRDown now draws all of that from the frontmatter you were writing anyway — and what you see in the preview is what lands in the PDF.

キー名は日英どちらでも拾います（title / doc / version / date / author / classification）。知らないキーは今までどおりメタデータのパネルに残るので、既存の文書が壊れることはありません。ロゴは設定から一度登録すれば全文書に入ります。

The keys work in either language, and anything MRDown doesn't recognise stays in the metadata panel exactly as before — your existing documents are untouched. The logo is set once in Settings and appears on every document that has a header.

帯は先頭に一度だけです / The band is drawn once, at the top

全ページの上端に繰り返す案は落としました。プレビューにはページという概念が無いので、繰り返しを画面上で正直に見せる方法がありません。1枚目にだけ付くように見えて実際は全ページに出る、ではプレビューが嘘をつきます。先頭に一度なら、画面と出力が同じ絵になります。

同じ理由で、ページ番号は入れられません。CSS からページ番号を出す仕組み（@page のマージンボックス）はブラウザ側が実装しておらず、こちらから制御できません。ここは正直に諦めた部分です。

We considered repeating it on every printed page and decided against it. A preview has no pages — there is no honest place on screen for a per-page band, and one that looks like it belongs to page 1 while actually printing on all of them makes the preview lie. Drawn once, the screen and the output are the same picture.

For the same reason there are no page numbers: the CSS mechanism for them isn't implemented by the browser engine, so it isn't ours to control. We would rather say so than fake it.

白紙から書き始めなくてよくなります / You no longer start from a blank page

⌘N はこれまで通り、押した瞬間に空の文書です。そこにテンプレートが浮かびます。押せば骨組みが入り、無視して書き始めれば消えます。空白1枚が欲しいだけの人には、一手も増えません。

⌘N still lands you on a blank page instantly. The templates now float in the space that blank page leaves anyway — click one and the skeleton drops in, start typing and they disappear. Wanting a blank sheet costs you nothing.

組み込みは設計書と要件定義書の2つで、中身は骨だけです。見出しと空の表と、各節に何を書くかの短い指示だけ。文章は入れていません。埋まった文章を入れると「これが MRDown 流の書式だ」に見えてしまい、書式の違う会社には邪魔になるからです。

Two ship with the app, a design doc and a requirements doc, and both are skeletons: headings, empty tables and a one-line prompt per section. No prose. A filled-in template reads as "this is how MRDown thinks a spec should be written", which is exactly wrong for a company whose format differs.

雛形はリポジトリに置きます / Templates live in the repository

そして、その2つはあなたの会社には合いません。合わないのが当然なので、自分の雛形を使えます。

置き場は docs/_templates/ — リポジトリの中です。ここが今回いちばん考えたところで、理由が3つあります。

• clone しただけでチーム全員に配られます。 配布の仕組みを作る必要がありません
• AI エージェントが読みます。 AGENTS.md に一行入れておけば、「設計書を作って」と打った時点であなたの書式で書かれます。設定ボタンから、貼るだけの文面をコピーできます
• 雛形の変更履歴が残ります。 書式を変えた理由を後から diff で追えます

開いているフォルダの docs/_templates/ は自動で使われます。 リポジトリを移れば雛形も一緒に切り替わるので、設定を触る必要はありません。

And those two will not match your company. Of course they won't — so bring your own.

They live in docs/_templates/, inside the repository. That placement is the part we thought hardest about:

• A clone hands them to everyone on the team. There is no distribution mechanism to build
• AI agents read them. One line in AGENTS.md and "write the design doc" produces your format — the settings pane will copy that line out for you to paste
• Changes to the templates are reviewable, like everything else in the repo

Whatever folder you have open is read automatically, so moving between repositories moves the templates with you. Nothing to configure.

気に入った文書から、型だけ抜けます / Take the shape of a document you liked

人は雛形をゼロから書きません。手元の良くできた1枚から始めます。ファイルメニューの**「この文書から雛形を作る」**で、見出し・表のヘッダー・frontmatter のキー・チェックリストを残し、本文と表の中身を落とします。

結果はどこにも保存されず、新しい文書として開きます。 見出しの直下の1行が「節の指示」なのか「本文」なのかは機械には決められないからで、外したときの代償を「1回の取り消し」に抑えるための作りです。判断はあなたに残ります。

Nobody writes a template from nothing; they start from a document that worked. Make a Template from This Document keeps the headings, the table headers, the frontmatter keys and the checklists, and drops the prose and the table contents.

It is saved nowhere — it opens as a new document. Whether the line under a heading is that section's instructions or its content is not something a machine can tell, so the result is a draft for you to trim. A wrong guess costs one undo.

直したこと / Fixed

プレビューを GitHub ダークにしたまま印刷すると、白い紙に白い文字が出ていました。プレビューテーマの色指定が印刷用の指定に勝ってしまうためで、今回から印刷時は必ず読める色に戻ります。

Printing while the GitHub-dark preview theme was on put white text on white paper — the theme's colours outranked the print stylesheet. Printing now always resets to something legible.

1.9.0 — 2026-08-03

表も、書きながら表に見えます / Tables read as tables while you write

1.8.0 で編集画面から記号が消えましたが、表だけは | の行のままでした。今回それが埋まります。表は編集中も罫線で描かれます。太字・code・打ち消し・リンク・画像、:---: の寄せもそのまま反映されます。

In 1.8.0 the editor stopped showing markup — except for tables, which stayed as rows of pipes. That gap is now closed: tables are drawn with real ruled borders while you edit, with bold, code, strikethrough, links, images and the :---: alignments all in place.

カーソルの規則は同じ、単位が「表」になります / The caret rule is the same, its unit is the table

このアプリの約束は「今まさに直しているテキストは隠さない」です。表は行をまたぐ格子なので、その単位が「行」から「表」になります。カーソルが入っている間、その表だけが | の行に戻ります。 隣の表は罫線のままです。

The promise has not changed: what you are editing is never hidden. A table is a grid that spans lines, so its unit is the whole block — while the caret is inside a table, that table goes back to rows of pipes, and the tables around it stay drawn.

入り方は 2 つです。

• セルをクリック — そのセルのソース位置にキャレットが飛びます
• ↑ / ↓ — 表を飛び越さず、表の中に着地します

Two ways in:

• Click a cell — the caret lands in that cell's own source
• ↑ / ↓ — stepping across the boundary lands inside the table instead of jumping over it

WYSIWYG ではありません（今回も） / Still not WYSIWYG

表を「編集できる格子」にすると、多くの実装は内部モデルから Markdown を組み直します。すると開いて保存しただけで表の書式が揃えられ、差分が汚れます。差分が目玉のこのアプリでは、それは目玉を殺します。

ここでやっているのは表示だけです。中身は最後までただのテキストで、保存してもファイルは 1 バイトも変わりません。

Make a table an editable grid and most implementations end up rebuilding the Markdown from an internal model — which quietly reformats your table on save and dirties the diff. In an app whose showpiece is the diff, that kills the showpiece.

Nothing here is rebuilt: the buffer stays plain text, so saving never rewrites a byte of your file.

編集画面が変わりました。# や ``` などの記号は消えて、見出しは大きく、太字は太く表示されます。- [ ] は本物のチェックボックスになり、クリックでそのまま切り替わります。画像もその場に表示されます。

The editor is new. Markup like # or ``` is hidden, headings are big, bold is bold. - [ ] becomes a real checkbox you can click, and images render where they sit.

The line the caret is on always shows its raw Markdown — hiding what you are editing is the one thing every WYSIWYG editor gets wrong. Move the caret there and the syntax is back.

WYSIWYG の実装によっては、内部のブロック構造から Markdown を組み立て直します。すると開いて保存しただけでリスト記号や空行が書き換わることがあります。差分が目玉のこのアプリでは、それは目玉を殺します。

MRDown の中身は最後までただのテキストです。保存してもファイルは 1 バイトも変わりません。 履歴も 3-way の衝突表示も、これまでどおりです。

Some WYSIWYG editors rebuild the Markdown from an internal block model, which is why opening and saving a file can quietly change its list markers or blank lines. In an app whose showpiece is the diff, that kills the showpiece.

Here the buffer stays plain text throughout. Saving never rewrites a byte of your file, so history and the three-way conflict view keep working exactly as before.

Press ⌘E and the preview becomes the editor, in place; ⌘E turns it back. The swap keeps the paragraph you were reading, so reading and writing both get the window's full width.

The side-by-side view is still here. Settings (⌘,) ▸ Appearance ▸ "Editing layout" ▸ "Side by side" brings back the split editor with its live preview. It applies immediately, and switching mid-edit keeps your caret where it was.

• Edit mode halves the preview's width and the text rewraps, so MRDown anchors on the block you were reading rather than on a line count or a ratio. Long documents stay put.

任意の2ファイルを比較（⌘⇧D）

これまで比べられたのは「同じファイルの版どうし」だけでした。ファイル ▸「2つのファイルを比較…」（⌘⇧D）で、手元のどの2ファイルでも並べて読めます。変わった語だけが強調され、無変更行は折りたたまれる——版比較とまったく同じ読み味です。差分レンダラは1つに統一したので、操作を覚え直す必要はありません。

手元のものを見る・直すのは無料の仕事です。この機能はコア（無料）に入っています。 Pro ではありません。

読んでいた位置を覚える

下までスクロールして、別のファイルを覗いて、戻ってくると——先頭に飛んでいました。長い文書を読んでいる最中に他を少し確認するたび、位置が失われていたのです。もう飛びません。 文書ごとに読んでいた位置を覚え、戻ってきたらそこに着地します。新しく開いた文書は先頭から始まります（それが正しい挙動です）。

ついでに、⌘E で編集モードに入るだけで位置が 0 に落ちていたバグも直りました。プレビューと編集はモードごとに別々に位置を覚えます。

v1.2.0 let you read the diff between two versions of the same file. v1.3.0 widens that diff — to any two files on disk, and to where you left off reading.

Compare any two files (⌘⇧D)

Until now you could only compare versions of the same file. File ▸ "Compare Two Files…" (⌘⇧D) puts any two files side by side. Only the words that differ are marked and unchanged runs fold away — the exact reading experience of a version diff. There's a single diff renderer behind both, so there's nothing new to learn.

Looking at and editing what's on your disk is free. This is in the core (free) app — not Pro.

Remembers where you were reading

Scroll down, glance at another file, come back — and you were snapped back to the top. Every quick look elsewhere lost your place in a long document. Not anymore. MRDown remembers your scroll position per document and lands you back there. Newly opened documents still start at the top (as they should).

Along the way, a bug where merely entering edit mode with ⌘E reset your position to 0 is fixed too. Preview and edit each remember their own position.

何が変わったかを読む

保存するたび、そして外部から書き換えられるたびに版を記録します。履歴パネル（時計アイコン）で任意の2版を選んで、差分を並べて読めます。変わった語だけが強調され（日本語は1文字単位で比較するので、1文字直しただけで行全体が光ったりしません）、無変更行は折りたたまれます。

Git リポジトリなら HEAD も同じ一覧に並びます。コミット済みとの差分が、履歴の版とまったく同じ画面で見られます。Git diff を別機能として作っていないので、操作を覚え直す必要はありません。Git は無くても動きます。

AI に上書きされない

これが今回いちばん重要な修正です。

これまで、あなたが編集中（未保存）にディスク上のファイルが書き換えられると、MRDown は何も告げず、⌘S を押した瞬間にその変更を黙って破壊していました。しかも消えた版はどこにも残りませんでした。

• ディスク側の版は、検知した瞬間に履歴へ退避されます
• 「ディスクを読み直す」を選ぶときは、あなたの未保存編集も捨てる前に退避されます
• 競合中の ⌘S は黙って上書きせず、選択を促します
• 「最後の保存 / ディスク / 自分の編集」を3列で並べ、双方が同じ行を別々に直したところだけを衝突として示します

見ているだけのときの書き換えも版として残るので、AI が何をしたかを後から遡れます。

版の出所

版には出所が記録されます: 保存 / 外部の書き換え / コミット済みの版に戻った / 退避した下書き。上限は種別ごとに分かれているので、エージェントがループで書き込んでもあなた自身の保存は押し出されません。

なおどのアプリが書き換えたかは分かりません。macOS がそれを記録していないためです（stat に書き手はおらず、lsof は書き手が閉じた時点で空になります）。唯一の例外が Git で、内容がコミット済みの版と1バイト違わず一致した場合だけ、それと断定できます。

Read what changed

Every save, and every rewrite from outside the app, is kept as a version. The History panel (clock icon) puts any two versions side by side so you can read the difference. Only the words that actually differ are marked (Japanese is compared character by character, so a one-character edit doesn't light up the whole line), and unchanged runs are folded away.

In a Git repository, HEAD joins the same list — the diff against what's committed appears in exactly the same view as the diff between two saves. Git diff isn't a separate feature with its own controls; it's one more version. Git is optional.

An agent can't overwrite you

This is the important fix.

Until now, if something rewrote the file on disk while you had unsaved edits, MRDown said nothing — and the moment you pressed ⌘S it silently destroyed that change. The version it destroyed existed nowhere else.

• The disk's version is snapshotted the moment it's seen
• Choosing "reload from disk" snapshots your unsaved edits before discarding them
• ⌘S during a conflict doesn't overwrite; it asks
• Three columns — last save, what's on disk, your edits — with only the lines you both rewrote differently marked as conflicts

Rewrites that happen while you're merely reading are kept too, so you can go back and read what the AI did.

Where a version came from

Versions record their origin: saved / changed elsewhere / back to the committed version / rescued draft. Each kind has its own budget, so an agent writing in a loop can't evict your own saves.

Which application wrote a file is not knowable — macOS doesn't record it (stat has no writer; lsof is empty once the writer closed the file). Git is the one exception: content that matches the committed blob byte-for-byte was Git putting the file back.

1.1.0 — 2026-07-11

直したもの

• DMG に公証の切符を焼き込むようにしました（staple）。 これまで DMG は署名のみで切符を持たず、Gatekeeper が Apple へのオンライン照会に頼っていました。v1.0.0 以前の DMG も同様です。
• 設定・履歴ダイアログの読み上げ用ラベルが日本語／英語に固定されていたのを、UI の言語に追従するようにしました。
• 起動直後のメニューが日本語固定だったのを、OS の言語に合わせるようにしました。
• 書き出しをはじめ文書に依存するメニュー項目が、文書を開いていなくても押せて無反応でした。文書が無い間はグレーアウトします。

The outline moves into a column of its own

The heading outline used to share the 230px sidebar with the folder tree and the open-documents list, which left headings wrapping. It now gets its own column, to the right of the document.

• Toggle it with ⌘2 (View ▸ Outline) — the counterpart to ⌘1 for the sidebar.
• Settings ▸ Appearance chooses between "Right" (the default) and "In the left sidebar". Put it back on the left and it stays collapsible, exactly as before.
• It steps aside while you edit, so the ⌘E split editor and preview keep their width. Bring it back with ⌘2 and it stays — visibility is remembered separately for preview and edit.
• Both the position and the open/closed state survive a restart.

Fixes

• The DMG now carries its notarization ticket (stapled). Until now the DMG was only signed and had no ticket of its own, so Gatekeeper fell back to querying Apple online. This applies to v1.0.0 and earlier too.
• The Settings and History dialogs had hardcoded accessible names (Japanese and English respectively); they now follow the UI language.
• The menu bar was built in Japanese at startup regardless of the OS language.
• Export and the other document-only menu items were clickable with no document open, and silently did nothing. They're greyed out now.

A heading outline in the sidebar: click a heading to jump to it, and the heading you're reading is highlighted as you scroll. Collapsible (remembered), and it follows the document live while you edit.

Open a whole folder

"Open Folder" browses a folder's Markdown files as a set: pick files from a left-hand tree and expand or collapse subfolders. The opened folder is restored on next launch.

• Background and text colors (presets + a color picker)

• 下書き保護 / Draft protection — 編集中の内容も、ディスクに書き出していない無題の文書も、下書きとして自動保持し、次回起動時に復元。終了やクラッシュでも書きかけを失いません。ディスク側が新しければ通常どおり再読み込みし、未保存の下書きだけを優先します。 In-progress edits, and untitled documents that were never written to disk, are continuously kept as drafts and restored on next launch, so a quit or crash won't discard what you were writing. Files that changed on disk still reload; only your unsaved drafts are preferred.
• YAML frontmatter — 先頭の --- … --- ブロックを本文に漏らさず、畳んだメタ情報カードとして整理して表示します。 The leading --- … --- block now renders as a tidy, collapsed metadata card instead of leaking title: / tags: lines into the body.

• ソースモード（編集中） / Source mode (while editing) — エディタのバッファを検索し、すべてのヒットをハイライト（現在位置を強調）。1件ずつ／一括で置換でき、⌘Z で完全に取り消せます。 Searches the editor buffer and highlights every hit (current one emphasized). Replace one or all, fully undoable with ⌘Z.
• プレビューモード / Preview mode — レンダリング後のテキストを検索するので、インライン装飾をまたいだマッチ（例：**bold** を跨ぐ）も可能。段落をまたいで結合はしません。 Searches the rendered text, so matches can span inline formatting (e.g. across **bold**), without merging across paragraphs.
• オプション / Options — 正規表現・大小区別・単語単位のトグル（記憶されます）。Enter / ⇧Enter でヒットを移動。 Regex, case-sensitive and whole-word toggles (remembered). Step through hits with Enter / ⇧Enter.

ローカル履歴 / Local history

• 保存するたびにタイムスタンプ付きの版を自動でスナップショット。 Snapshots a timestamped version on every save.
• 履歴パネル（時計アイコン）から過去の版を一覧・プレビューし、任意の版をエディタに復元。非破壊なので、保存するまで何も上書きされません。 Browse and preview past versions from the History panel (clock icon) and restore any one into the editor — non-destructive, so nothing is overwritten until you save.
• 版はアプリのデータディレクトリに保存されるため、ファイルや Git リポジトリを汚しません。Git 不要。 Versions live in the app's data directory, so they never clutter your files or Git repos; no Git required.
